Betsy Kraft

A dog lover her entire life, Betsy began volunteering at Pasadena Humane in 1997, shortly after returning to the U.S. after a decade of living abroad. During her tenure here, she has helped out in nearly every area of the shelter, from dog-walking and fostering to our spay/neuter clinic and mobile outreach on our Wiggle Waggle Waggin'.
She and her husband, Scott, have also been devoted paw-rents to dogs Monte, Mickey, and Miles-all adopted from Pasadena Humane. "They've brought me and Scott so many years of love and joy," Betsy said.
In addition to volunteering, Betsy has long been a committed donor to Pasadena Humane. Along the way, she and Scott made the decision to include the shelter in their estate plan as well because they know their future gift will be put to good use, and because staff and volunteers-including Betsy-always have the animals' best interests at heart.
"The shelter has been such a big part of my life," she said. "I can't think of a better place to donate to."
